Built in 1940, the Town of Northbridge Department of Public Works vehicle storage facility had never been renovated. It was hoped that the building could be redesigned to meet current needs. However, following a feasibility study, it was determined that a new facility was the most prudent and cost-effective method of achieving the Town’s goals. Habeeb & Associates Architects designed and monitored construction of the new 7,380 sq. ft. vehicle storage building that included 6 vehicle bays (two rows deep), administration offices, conference room, showers, toilet room and break room. The project included various site improvements such as new paved access roads, a new fueling station with above grade tanks and spill containment, and all new utilities.
